ABOUT SKYKON TOWERS LTD.

Skykon Towers Ltd. is a young company in a young industry. The business was founded by Vestas, the Danish wind turbine manufacturer, in 2002 with a view to supplying towers for Vestas’ wind turbines on the English, Irish and Scottish markets in particular.

In March 2009, the company was taken over by another Danish player in the rapidly expanding wind energy sector: the investment company EVO Energy A/S. At the same time, the company adopted the name Welcon Towers Ltd. which has now been replaced by our current name Skykon Towers Ltd.

Skykon Towers in Give, Denmark

On joining the Skykon Group, Skykon Towers Ltd. became the sister company of the other tower manufacturer in the portfolio: Skykon Towers located in Give, Denmark. This company is a true pioneer in the wind turbine industry and has more than 40 years of experience in the welding of major steel constructions. This means that there are all kinds of opportunities to exploit synergies for the benefit of our customers in areas such as sourcing, technology transfer, knowledge sharing, R&D, management systems and logistics.
